In January, we explored how The Little Prince teaches us to look beyond measurable outputs, focusing on nurturing creativity and purpose in systems like education. We also reflected on building better habits and how small actions compound into significant change, inspired by Atomic Habits and The Compound Effect. Finally, we examined the academic system as a distillery, calling for diverse pathways that recognize every learner’s value.
Looking ahead, the International System Dynamics Conference (ISDC) is your chance to connect with a global community of systems thinkers. ISDC2025, celebrating its 43rd year, invites contributions on incorporating AI into dynamic modeling and other impactful topics. Submissions are open January 21–March 18, 2025, with opportunities to engage virtually or in person in Boston, USA.
Our next issue, Hugs and Kisses—The Systems of Love
Next month, explore the feedback loops and balancing acts of relationships. Dive into how systems thinking helps us understand trust, care, and connection. Stay tuned!
